Exam 1 Practice Quiz
A confidence check to run in about forty minutes — companion to the
NUR 110 Exam 1 Study Guide. Covers Taylor 10e Ch 25 and Ch 30 — the material on
Exam 1.
Two halves. Questions 1–25 are recall and single-step application. Questions
26–50 are scenario and edge-case items — situations to reason through, two abnormal
findings to rank against each other, plausible-but-false causal links, vague instructions set against
specific ones, and classification traps. The second half is the harder practice, and closer to how a
faculty-written exam actually asks.
How it works: pick an answer and the rationale appears immediately — why the right answer is right, and
why the tempting wrong ones are wrong. Select-all questions need a Check click; ordering questions are
answered by clicking the steps in sequence. Nothing is saved when you close the page, so you can retake
it as often as you like.
Question mix: multiple choice, select-all-that-apply, priority, ordering, true/false, and
fill-in-the-blank — the formats a faculty-written NCLEX-style exam actually uses.
Printing? The printout mirrors what is on screen — print now for a blank practice test, or click Reveal all answers first to print a full answer key with rationales.
